This Privacy Policy explains how DENTAL SIMULATION S.R.L., with its registered office at Str. Pipera Tunari nr. 200A, Building B, 5th floor, apt. 6, Voluntari, Ilfov County, Romania, collects, uses and protects the personal data of the users of our website, in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation.
Information we collect
We may collect the following types of personal data:
First and last name;
Email address;
Phone number;
Postal address;
Information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
Purposes of data collection
Personal data is collected and used for the following purposes:
Providing the services requested;
Improving the user experience on the website;
Sending offers and marketing communications, only with the user’s consent;
Complying with legal obligations.
Data protection
DENTAL SIMULATION S.R.L. takes appropriate measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, destruction, loss or alteration.
Data sharing

The Dental Simulation mobile app and your customer account
This section applies to the Dental Simulation mobile app (iPhone and Android) and to the customer account on cursuri.dentalsimulation.ro, which is also used in the app. The data controller is DENTAL SIMULATION S.R.L.
What data we process
Account data: first and last name, email address, phone number, password (stored only in encrypted form), the language you choose and, optionally, your city and specialty;
Invoicing data: name and address (city, county, postcode, country); for companies, also the company name, tax identification number (CUI), trade register number, bank and IBAN;
Your bookings, orders, invoices and course participation contracts, your discount codes and the invitations you send to colleagues;
Your lunch menu choices for a course, if you make them in the app;
Messages in the course chat, message reports and the people you block;
The messages you send to our team in the app (“Message us”) and your course or lecturer suggestions;
Your entries on the waiting list of full courses;
The device identifier used for notifications (push token), the type of phone (iPhone or Android) and the language.
The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data or card details, contains no analytics or advertising tools and does not track your activity in other apps or websites. If you add a course to your calendar, your phone asks for your permission and the app only writes the event; it does not read your calendar.
Why we use it
To create and manage your account, book course seats, issue invoices, sign contracts and organise the courses (performance of a contract), to comply with tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation) and for the notifications described below.
Notifications
The app sends notifications about your courses, reminders, invoices and due dates, contracts to sign, chat messages, seats freed up on courses you are waiting for, new courses and discount codes, and, after a course, an invitation to leave a review on Google. Notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and, on iPhone, through Apple’s push notification service. You can turn them off by category in Account → Profile, under “Notifications you receive”, or in your phone’s settings.
Providers that process data on our behalf
NETOPIA Payments – card payments for bookings and invoices are made on the NETOPIA payment page; card details never pass through the app or our website;
FGO – issuing invoices, based on your invoicing data;
PandaDoc – sending and electronically signing participation contracts;
Google Firebase – delivering notifications.
Course chat
A course’s chat is opened by our team and is available only to the confirmed participants of that course (signed contract and full payment) and to the Dental Simulation team, who can see the messages posted there. You accept the chat rules before your first message. You can report a message (the report goes to our team) and block a user; the team can delete messages and remove people from the chat. Messages are kept for as long as the course chat exists.
Messages with our team and suggestions
Messages sent from “Message us” are seen only by the Dental Simulation team, who reply in the app. Course or lecturer suggestions reach our team together with the name, email and phone number in your account, so they can contact you. Messages are kept until you delete your account; suggestions are kept after that, without being linked to your account.
Waiting list and invitations
When you join the waiting list of a full course, our team sees your name, email, phone number and the date you joined; when a seat frees up, you get a notification. You can leave the list at any time, and your entry is removed when you book the course.
When a colleague creates an account with your invitation code, the app shows you only their first name and the initial of their last name. We keep the invited person’s email address in our invitation records so that the same reward is not granted twice (legitimate interest).
How long we keep data
Account data is kept until you delete your account; accounts whose email address has not been confirmed are deleted automatically after 7 days. Invoices, orders and participation contracts are kept for the period required by Romanian tax and accounting law, also after the account is deleted, without being linked to an account any more.
Deleting your account

Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time. Any change will be published on this page, and continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
